Introduction

 Today was a pretty good day but as always, I was ready to go by the end of the day. We started with a bell ringer about our love life. After the bell ringer, we went on to break down more poems by Emily Dickinson. Once we were done, it was already time to go. Overall, today went well.

I honestly don’t think there’s life outside of Earth based on the information presented. I feel as if Earth is just a very tiny part of the solar system and doesn’t matter (to other planets). When it comes to our life, it doesn’t matter outside of planet Earth. The universe is incredibly large any NO ONE will ever find out everything about the galaxy.

 Today we turned in our Myths, although I didn’t have mines. We also discussed a poem named “We real cool” and broke down the text. Today it felt good throughout the entire class and it wasn’t cold. I was ready to go though because it was Friday. Overall, today was a great day.

Today we learned about more parts of the rhetoric devices. We also worked on our myth as well. Today I felt cold at times but for the most part, I felt pretty good. My head was hurting at the end of the day as well. Overall, I was just ready to go.

 Today, we learned about the 3 rhetorical appeals (logos, pathos, and ethos). Mr Rease proposed to the class the option of having a free day on Friday. Logos: no work on Friday can cause less stress on the students and teacher. Pathos: some students may not feel good or may be having a bad day. Ethos: as a student, work is not necessary everyday.

 Today I learned about the history of American Literature. I learned that the Literature we know of today was founded by Native Americans a long time ago. I also learned the difference between a myth, legend, and religion. Today, it felt cold at times and other times it felt good. I was extremely sleepy the entire period though.

 I feel like my purpose in life is to be successful in whatever I do in the future and uplift others. I feel as if I am very talented and have multiple skills. Some of my skills and passions are basketball, making money, clothes, and traveling. I also love to motivate other people to become the best version of them selves. Those are my main purposes in life. 

 My name is Demani. I go to Cedar grove high school. I am 16. I am originally from Decatur Ga. I like to play basketball and listen to music for fun. 3 goals for me this year are to make honors roll, Join FBLA, and to pass all AP exams.
